Director of Finance / Controller
Art Hoesterey has been with Community Bridges since 1997 serving as the agencies Director/Controller. Art has his Bachelor of Business Administration, Concentration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his Master’s of Science in Education, Concentration in Secondary Education from Northern Illinois University.
Art has more than five years of experience in Public Accounting, including auditing government and non-profit entities, among other duties. Currently serving as the Director/Controller for Community Bridges, his responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all laws and contractual obligations: safeguarding of company assets through a comprehensive accounting of all assets and making sure all company property is properly insured; maintaining a system of internal controls which ensures all transactions are accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; overseeing all financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, general ledger, and grants management.
Art is committed to ensuring the long-term viability of the agency through prudent stewardship of company resources and conservative actions to safeguard the company’s goodwill and standing in the community.
